Just returned from 5 awesome nights at Muskrat. We were also there last year so finding the fish this year was a bit easier. The inlet, outlet and narrows proved to be the best spots. Walleye love worms there and we released two 27 inchers as well as many others over 20. Largest pike at 40 inches was caught on a Daredevil spoon.
Many others over 30 inches were also released. This camp is located high and dry on a beautiful rocky shoreline where both walleye and pike were caught right off the dock. Thanks to the Leuenberger's for another memorable trip and special thanks to pilot Angus who flew us out safely and professionally.

I'll be out with a group at Kellow Lake in two weeks. Anyone have an update on lake depth, fishing report, and hot spots? Have been to Kayedon multiple times. First time at Kellow.

Thanks!

I'm coming up with my 2 sons for the first time to leuenbergers (lake washi) in July. This is our first trip to ontario province so I'd like to talk fishing with anyone who's been there. We don't spend a lot of time fishing here in the states but we really have enjoyed our annual Canada trips so any tips to help my sons land a big pike would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Joe

Well here we are just a few weeks away from our 2017 fishing trip.
We look forward to this trip for the whole year. The drive up, the fly in
and the best walleye fishing that is possible. 15 years and counting going to the KAG. It's the peaceful sound of the loon at night . Does it get any better than this, Not for me. My time, My trip, My peace, and all the fish that one man could ever expect to catch. When I first went to the KAG I said this is a trip of a lifetime. Yes it was. 15 years later and it is still my trip of a lifetime. I will continue to create more lifetimes for me. Pictures, yes I take many. Big fish pictures oh yes no shortage of those at the KAG.
Four weeks and counting and more pictures in my mind. Thank You Malcolm and Claudine for helping me to appreciate
My friends , nature, and the memories not to be erased.

Kag is an amazing fishery. Trip earlier this year with Gary and I again strong on all the Walleye you want. After catching walleye after walleye for hours you get tired of catching walleye. I know it is a fish story. We have had better large pike success in previous years. Did not have quantity of over 40 inch pike that we have had in previous years. Cannot blame weather which was comfortable. Love having lake to ourselves for most part. Staff provide superb service. Dale is great addition to the camp with his expertise and enthusiasm. Derrick is the quintessential (?sp) lodge manager always attentive to client needs. Cannot recommend them more highly. Go * * *!!!

Just returned from Muskrat on June 17th. Our group of six had great weather and excellent fishing once we found them. The cabin and it's location are the best I've seen in my 18 trips with Leuenberger's. Largest walleye was 22.5" and pike was 40". Headed back there in 2017 to do it all over again. Thanks again to Malcolm, Claudine and staff.
