Another great time and SUCCESSFULL MOOSE HUNT. As i say every year, the service and accoommodations are the best in the north! There were six of us in Kayedon Lake and two of us EACH downed big Bulls. One was late in the evening but only took us 2 1/2 hrs to quarter and get it back to the dock. Dave came in and took the first moose to the cooler shortly after we had it hanging! Everything ran smooth again although a couple rocks were sampled due to the low water levels (the inventive stainless steel guards on your props saved the day). Fishing was great again right beside the cabin. Hats off to all the crew at Leuenbergers! Thanks Mac and Claudine, Jamie, and Dar et al (dock crew) and of course Dave! What lipstick-i dont know what your talking about??!!
Appreciatively, Al,Terry, Taylor, Nial, Steve and Gator

Just got back fishing Kayedon Lake July 21- 28.Fishing was phenomenal. The Niagara 6 caught well over 600 fish at Kayedon and Ogoki with our biggest walleye just over 24 inches.View the maps at the outpost cottage to see where the hotspots are.Caught the majority of our fish on 48" long home made worm harnesses using bottom boncers and and 1.5 ounce walking sinkers.Use bright coloured blades with a double hook set up.Trolled at about 1.5 mph.

Cant wait to get to Kag. Missed last year. Does anyone know if the brook trout are in the river? Considering how hot it has been in detroit. Two years ago little to no action in the river due to water level and high temps. Is derrick still throwing horseshoes. Current info appreciated.

Can someone please tell me what lake the Brook Trout were caught on in the pictures that are in the photo gallery titled "Fishing 2007"? Those are some really nice brook trout, and I would love to go to the outpost where they were caught. Thanks.

Reading the entries and surmised that Stacy is back. Don't know if we have met Erin or Eric. Love Stacy, Derrick & Dale!! 52 more days and we head out for Nakina. Course we take the scenic route, so will be in Nakina to fly out on Wednesday, August 22. Can't wait to see everyone!! Claudine and Malcome, Jamie, Darlene & Rob.Davy-some of the best people we know! Stacy, Big Brother awaits. This year we won't let Dale and Derrick watch it with us. They are just antogonists. Can't wait to get off the plane and see our cabin again!! See you all soon.

It was another great trip at the Kag. It was really rough. Every morning Stacy or Erin would bring a pot of coffee to the cabin. It was tough having Eric come by every morning picking up our trash and bringing dry firewood. I felt bad (as I looked out the cabin window while the snow was falling) as Dale would bail out the boats, gas up the motors, prepare the boats for a day of fishing. It was rough on us as we ate venison tenderloin, lake trout and walleye for breakfast. Derick would come by and ask us (Is everything okay do you need anything?).. Oh yes and after fishing we had to suffer as we would gather in the lodge and watch the hockey playoffs as we would indulge in our favorite cool aid. This year we caught the lake trout, walleye, pike. Next year it is the grand slam, we are going to catch the Brookies. Russ senior will not be with us as this was his last year. He is only 94 years old. He has a lifetime of memories from fishing Canada. They will never be erased. I intend to create some new ones next year and the years to come. My wife says your getting spoiled. I said your right and I love it!! Enjoy it while you can! See you next year!!
