Hi....Leuenberger is certainly a familiar name to us , Wolf was a pilot first for Superior then Austin a lot of years ago . We've been trying to find info as to RV camp sites in Nakina. We are planning a cross Canada trip and naturally would like to revisit Nakina, after all we lived there for 3 years ! Surely would be appreciated if someone there would have some info they could give us ? Thank you .... Gabi Becker

Heading to Percy the first week in July and would appreciate any information on where to find the Perch and Brook Trout. What lures were used for the Perch as well?

Also, how is the fishing on the east end of the lake, farther away from the cabin? My family has been to 7 of Leuenberger's lakes, so I can share information in exchange. Thanks.

We just enjoyed our 12th year at the lodge and our 19th year with Leuenburgers. Always a great time. We loved spending time with Derrick, Dale and the rest of the staff! Having Corky and Dee there put the icing on the cake. Keep up the good work!

LOOKING AT BOOKING SOMETHING WITH LEUENBERGER FOR THE 2010 SEASON. SEVERAL OF THE GUYS ARE NEW TO CANADIAN FISHING. IF I WERE TO BOOK A LAKE WHAT LAKE WOULD YOU SUGGEST WHERE THERE WOULD BE A LOT OF ACTION FOR BOTH EYES AND PIKE. THEY WANT TO CATCH LARGE PIKE WITH LOTS OF EYES. BEING NEW THEY NEED TO BE KEPT BUSY PULLING FISH IN MOST OF THE TIME I GUESS BETWEEN BEERS. MOST OF HIS CABINS LOOK PRETTY GOOD. THIS LAKE WOULD HAVE TO BE ON THE SHALLOW SIDE WITH SEVERAL STREAMS OR RIVERS RUNNING IN AND OUT. PLEASE PASS ANY INFO ON AS IT WILL BE LOOKED AT VERY CLOSE TO DECIDE WHAT LAKE TO BOOK. ALSO THIS WOULD BE EARLY SEASON OR LATE GOING INTO SEPT. THANKS FOR ALL THE HELP.

Big game hunt no. 8 !! Just another success story as usual. Six of us went to Whittle Lake this year the first week and along with the great weather we had great hunting and fishing!! We saw 5 moose and ended up with a young (and tasty) bull. Rather hot weather kept the flies out but the action adrenaline kept them away! Lots of moose sign and a couple callbacks kept the week short. Service was once again second to none. The day after we shot the bull we had susan and darlene at our door knocking to take it to the cooler back at the base. The accom's were as i remembered in 2002-still 5 bush stars! Plenty of firewood, clean, only one mouse, plenty of bald eagles and plenty of walleye and pike! See ya'all next year!! Thanks from myself, Terry Dubois,Steve Rome,George Koprash,Gator and Nick Parniak!!PS I hope the second crew came across that big bull!!?

Going to Felsia in June 2010. Was wondering if anyone has a large scale topographic map with a few marked fishing spots and anything else of interest for Felsia and Hurst Lakes? Please e-mail me if you could share. I'd be happy to send stamped, self addressed envelope to cover costs.
Have been to Elbow and Sam and would be happy to share my experiences / information with anyone who e-mails me.

nice to see the business is still up and running. I lived in Nakina for two years from 1984-86 and totally enjoyed the town, and the people, of Nakina.
Hope the whol Leuenberger family is still going strong, they were good friends to my wife and myself.
