What can I say other than " I will be back". It is not just about the fishing as I have said many years past. Wayne and Barbara and Tessa, Brendan made all the trip more enjoyable. Derrick and Dale well that's a given.
Always the same, can't do enough for you. So how many fish can you catch? Does it really matter? The KAG is not just a fishing lake. It is a memory lake. I have caught more fish than most fisherman catch in a lifetime at The KAG . It is more than a fishing lake.

So I look forward to our Fly in next year at the KAG. Making more memories with my best friend
and to the different stories I can tell. I can catch more fish in a week at the KAG than most people catch in a life time. But the most wonderful thing
is that I have the trips in my memory. A sincere thanks to you Malcolm.

Re: Kag Lake: wanted to belatedly thank Derrick and Dale for another 10 days of great fishing on Kag. Bad weather shut down fishing for first 2 days, but nice weather turned things around and had furious final 8 days. The 2 of us caught 15 pike over 40 inches (we keep tallies). Consistent numbers of pike over 30 inches. Did a day on the river and caught brook trout in pristine waters. It is quite amazing to pull up to a hole and pull out 100 walleye in s several hours and not even have to move around. Largest 24 inches. the sheer volume of fish however is extraordinary and one gets tired of pulling in fish. Sounds like another fish story i know. I will not say what time of year we visit as I do not want competition for cabin space. The service is spectacular. Derrick and Dale are top shelf lodge managers. My highest recommendation which is unsolicited.

Heading to Whitefish next June, any input on the lake and pointers appreciated, it looks like a large lake which our group likes. Thank-you

Well time passes quickly. I look forward to another trip to the KAG 14... Last year was great as usual; a late ice out but it was something different. We flew in on a late ice out but the experience was quite motivating. Not your normal routine. Looking forward to May and another experience at the KAG. Pictures are good, but the pictures in your mind that you remember. Priceless!! Just keep making more.
